Prior to joining St. James's Place Wealth Management, Stuart worked for Coutts for 30 years.
During his career Stuart has worked with and advised a wide variety of clients from different backgrounds, but has always sought to develop long term relationships with the client’s interests placed first.
In his last role at Coutts, Stuart was an Executive Director responsible for leading a team of 20 professionals providing advice to International clients, as well as being the Wealth Manager for a portfolio of his own clients.
Stuart has a first class honours degree in Financial Services, is a Chartered Wealth Manager, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments and a qualified banker through the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
Stuart has recently co-authored the study text for the Certificate in Relationship Management qualification for the London Institute of Banking and Finance.
Stuart is father to three school age children, a role which occupies most of his spare time. When time permits Stuart can be found trying to develop his golfing skills, and is an active member of the local community belonging to a number of clubs as well as being a Governor at a local primary school.
